BREAKING: Uche Secondus Elected PDP National Chairman

Prince Uche Secondus a candidate sponsored by the Ekiti and Rivers States Governors, Ayodele Fayose and Nyesom Wike respectively emerge winner as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after her convention with a landslide victory.

Chief Secondus who defeated his close rivals polled 2000 votes, Raymond Dokpesi 66, Prof Tunde Adeniran 230 votes, while Taoheed Adedoja nill votes.

Adeniran a South-West consensus candidate reacting to the outcome of the election said that the electoral process was hijacked and has called for it’s cancellation.

“We reject the entire electoral process of December 9, 2017. The election has been grossly compromised to achieve a predetermined end in line with the illegal unity list prepared by and and foisted on the entire delegates” He said

Adeniran and Dokpesi who initially took a walk out of the convention alleged that the electorates were bribed and given a list of candidates to support.
