Gov. Okorocha Rewards IMSU Best Graduating Student With #13.7m

In a combined convocation ceremony of the IMO State University (IMSU), the best graduating student received a whooping sum of #13.7m from the Imo State governor, Rochas Okorocha, to help him facilitate his post graduate programme in London.

Dr Chigozie who lost his Father shortly after gaining admission to study Optometry in Imo State University was threatened to withdraw for lack of funding as his mother’s vegetable trade could not sponsor his education.

After Rochas Okorocha became the Imo State governor in 2011, he declared free and compulsory education from primary to the university level and that would rekindle the spark of greatness in the young Doctor to soar to greatness.
